The 18th annual RHS Alumni Association golf outing was held on June 22 at Candia Woods. The Low Gross award went to the team of Ryan Johnson, Dan Johnson, Dave Anzalone, and Jake Yaris with 60 by a match of cards with team of Bud Dodge, Tom Perkins, Scott Ross & Don Moulton, also at 60. The Third Low Gross went to Jeff Weakley, Ken Brosnahan, Lou Eunari and Stephanie Prince with a 61 and Fourth Low Gross with a 67 was the team of Joe LaFond, Dan Frost, Paul Haddad and Kevin Callahan by a match of cards with Dave Bailey, Nick Soldano , Cole Collins, and Tyler Clark, also at 67.  


Special prizes were awarded:   Longest Drive on Hole #10 for Senior Men to Roger Paradis and Longest Drive for Men under 75 to Jeff Weakley.  Longest Drive on Hole #10 for Senior Ladies to Cynthia Ross and Longest Drive for Ladies under 75 to Jane LaDuke.  Nearest to Pin on Hole #8 was Dan Johnson, and Winner of the putting contest was Joe LaFond.


The event’s Platinum Donor was I. C. Reed & Sons, Inc.


The event’s Gold Donors were John (Jack) Ornell, RHS Class of 1975 and Hi-Volt Electric Line Construction & Maintenance, Inc.


Silver Donor was Wal*Mart Distribution Center of Raymond

Bronze Donor sponsorships were shared by D. F. Richard Inc., Gemini Valve, Littlewoods Landscaping,

American Legion Riders Post #90, Tuckaway Tavern, and Radio Grove Hardware.

Raffle prizes or cash were received from area businesses and friends including, Candia Woods, Cello’s Restaurant, Fremont Pizzeria, Good Heart Media Services, Gordo’s Mexican Restaurant, Hannaford’s of Raymond, Jackson Lumber & Millwork, Onway Woodworking, Piney Woods Farm, Dan Rollins, Salon 27, Wal*Mart Distribution Center of Raymond.


Class sponsorships were received for the Class of 1951, Class of 1957, Class of 1966; and Girls in Class of 1970.


Family sponsorships were received from the Ingalls Family, Mandile Family, Waterhouse Family, Maloney family, Proulx and Welch Families, and the Edward & Charlena Thompson family.


Memorial sponsorships were received for Fred & Hazel Bailey, John J. Callaghan, Don & Irene Smith, John & Jean Fernald. Thomas J. Robinson, Class of 1950, Joanne Rock Welch Class of 1962, Frank Langford, Class of 1962, Bruce Clark, Class of 1964, Deceased Members of the Class of 1965, Class of 1970, Deceased Alumni from Deerfield, Warren Cross, Class of 1958, Janice Cross Noel, Class of 1968, Leo Plante, Class of 1975, Scott Griffin, Class of 1982, Cote Twins, Louis & Virginia Paquette, Gordon and Helen Greenwood Cammett, their son Jake, daughters Kathy & Susie and grandson Greg Lafond.


The big winner of the day was the RHS Alumni Scholarship Fund that realized $11,000 from the event and will ensure that four scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each can be awarded in 2021. The Association is proud to announce that since 2000, $148,000 has been awarded to RHS seniors by the Association through the proceeds of the annual golf outing. The Association extends its thanks and appreciation to ALL those who contributed to the success of the outing this year in any way—you are all on a winning team!
